The 15 Coolest Motorcycles From "Sons of Anarchy"

FX’s hit series Sons of Anarchy regularly kills, both in storylines and in ratings. Focused around the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original, or SAMCRO, a show naturally shows off an intriguing lineup of bikes. When you take a look at some of the motorcycles on this show, you'll understand why we wish they would actually spend more time riding and less time gunning enemies downs.

15. Half Sack's Harley-Davidson Dyna

Why We Love It: As a prospective member of SAMCRO, Half Sack didn't quite fit in with "the big boys." Nowhere was this more evident than his white bike, which made him stand out from the group even more readily than his giant "PROSPECT" patch. We kind of appreciated having a different bike to look at, though.

14. Clay's Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide

Why We Love It: Each member of SAMCRO has a different means of showing his love for the club through airbrushed bike tanks. When we were first introduced to Clay, he was the club's president, and as such, he had the full Reaper graphic displayed loud and proud for all the world to see.

13. Piney's Harley-Davidson Electra Tri-Glide

Why We Love It: It's important to respect your elders, dearly departed or otherwise. We like that Piney kept riding, even though his health started failing him. This trike even had a special holster on the back for his oxygen canister and featured an SoA Reaper graphic on the tank with an oxygen mask. Piney was living proof that just because old age is a bitch, you never have to get stuck in a cage.

12. Opie's Panhead Restoration

Why We Love It: Opie had a modern, reliable Harley for everyday riding and also liked spending time restoring this classic. We can get behind that.

11. Opie's 2003 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Sport

Why We Love It: The SoA logo sitting on a pile of skulls on his tank is a really nice graphic. The drag bars are a nice touch, as well.

10. Jax's 2003 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Sport

Why We Love It: Although Jax's Dyna is one in the club with the same drag fairing, his custom T-bars make it stand out.

9. Linc Potter's '70s Triumph Bonneville

Why We Love It: You're not supposed to cheer for law enforcement while watching SoA, but Linc's a bit eccentric, as shown in his choice of bike. Who doesn't like matte green paint on an old-school British bike?

8. Chibs' Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob

Why We Love It: Like most other members of SAMCRO, Chibs has a Dyna. Unlike most of the others, his Dyna doesn't have a front fairing. The matte black z-bars and tiny little Saint Andrew's cross patch on the back of his saddle are custom touches that make it uniquely to his passionate personality.

7. Mayan Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail

Why We Love It: Black with sharp orange accents? Yes, please.

6. Tig's 2006 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob

Why We Love It: Matte black paint, tons of skulls and spikes -- it's the bike of our adolescent dreams. A perfectly dark bike for an even darker character.

5. Mayan '96 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail

Why We Love It: At worst, the Mayans and the Sons of Anarchy are mortal enemies. At best, these two warring factions came to an uneasy truce over the course of the series. If there was one thing that the two could agree on, it was the fact that this is a fantastic motorcycle.

4. T.O. Cross' Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle Road Glide

Why We Love It: As president of the Grim Bastards, Cross naturally had the baddest bagger on the block.

3. Marcus Alvarez's Harley-Davidson Road King

Why We Love It: The president of the Mayans rides on bike royalty in the beautiful Road King with custom Mayan Green paint. It's a gorgeous color, and we can only conclude that it looks even better in person.

2. Happy's 2011 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob

Why We Love It: No Arlen Ness fairing here. It's got some nice graphics on the tank. This bike was sold at auction in January 2012, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Great bike sold for a great cause. What's not to like?

1. Bobby's custom chopper

Why We Love It: It might not look super comfortable to ride, but it sure as hell looks badass. Bobby also has the multiple motorcycle bug and rides either a Fat Boy or a Street Glide for SAMCRO business that requires longer distances.
